Since B-Retina was a collaborator for the first time at the Festival Internacional de Cine Cutre de Madrid, (Cutrecon) in the 7th edition, it was a love at the first screen, and bond of friendship beyond professionalism.
For a few days, the cities of Madrid and Cornellà de Llobregat will be really close, as some staff of the B-Retina team will go to the Cutrecon to spend a few days surrounded by the cinema that we like and enjoy the most.
We are excited to go to Madrid, as in 2021 because of the covid (and heart-broken) we couldn’t go, but we are delighted to be able to sit in our favourite place: the cinema and enjoy this exceptional festival, in which we feel at home.
During B-Retina’s visit at Cutrecon, we were able to meet an idol in the flesh like Greg Sestero (star of The Room with Tommy Wiseau), from where he sent us this video:
The 11th edition of Cutrecon will be held from the 23rd to the 27th of February in various locations in Madrid such as the Mk2 Palacio de Hielo, the Cines Paz and the Faculty of Information of the Complutense University of Madrid.
We are looking forward to these fantastic dates, as in 2022, one of the special guests al Cutrecon es the American filmmaker Alan Hofmanis, who will collect the Jess Franco Award 2022 on behalf of Isaac Nabwana, director, screenwriter and editor of great Wakaliwood gems, who will introduce us to the film Bad Black.

From B-Retina, we want to remind our friends from Cutrecon that we are waiting for them from September 13th to 18th of this year with good doses of the cinema that we love the most and with which we have a smashing time (all that not including the A theater room).
